Several political leaders and officials have come under fire for racist remarks and inciting violence regarding the case.
A strong SAPS presence kept a large crowd in check yesterday (Monday, 19 April) as the alleged Pampoenkraal Farm murder suspects appeared before the court in Mkhondo (Piet Retief). The Pampoenkraal Farm case has received widespread criticism, and has the country divided as political parties jump on the bandwagon in an electioneering effort.
Several political leaders and officials have come under fire for racist remarks and inciting violence regarding the case. Various allegations have also surfaced regarding the integrity of the SAPS report, and the varying statements issued. At this time, several versions of events are purported.
