The Mpumalanga Department of Education has announced that it is satisfied with the progress of the preparatory examination for Grade 12 learners. This is the second week for the preparatory examination, and is marked with the writing of Mathematics and Mathematical. This examination started on 14 September 2020, and will proceed until 19 October 2020, and will afford Grade 12 learners with an opportunity to gauge their readiness, as it is similar to the end of the year examinations. It is also used to check the state of readiness for each school which will write the final examination, and is written under similar conditions as the end of the year examination.

We wish that they can take advantage of this opportunity, and not look back, but move forward with greater courage and determination. Equally, we request parents to appreciate the importance of this examination, by creating an enabling environment for it to unfold without any hassles." stated the MEC, Bonakele Majuba.
