During peak traffic on Friday morning, 14 May, a multi-vehicle collision took place on the N11 at the Wesselton/Boxer shopping centre traffic light. The collision, which resulted in two idividual sustaining moderate to severe injuries, baffled onlookers and paramedics. A red Chevrolet was impacted from the side, in what seems to be a collision with a delivery truck. The driver of the Toyota minibus was caught off guard by the collision, and hit the rear of the delivery truck. The driver of the minibus reportedly escaped unharmed. Emergency services, traffic officials and the SAPS were quick on the scene. IGAGU Ambulance services tended to the injured, alongside the provincial ambulance service.
