EHS learner excels in English Olympiad

This Olympiad is a 3 hour open book examination based on a yearly theme with a prescribed anthology, where candidates critically provide written responses to the English exam questions with references to the texts prescribed for the Olympiad.
In early March 2020 Raees Tikly, a Grade 9 learner from EHS, participated in the De Beers English Olympiad. This Olympiad is a 3 hour open book examination based on a yearly theme with a prescribed anthology, where candidates critically provide written responses to the English exam questions with references to the texts prescribed for the Olympiad. Raees received a silver certificate for the Olympiad. This is an exceptional achievement. “Congratulations, Raees. The Erries are very proud of you!”
